Behind the imagery
A sense of place.
Photography in this first design edition.
The tropical sunset banner is an AI-created brand illustration based on our own couple and resort reference photographs. It features our likenesses and personal details in an imagined setting; it is not a photograph of a specific hotel or a record of a stay.
Palm Springs architecture: Cody Board / Unsplash, reproduced from the image credited by Condé Nast Traveler.
Resort pool, lakeside landscape, mountain lake and sunset hills: Unsplash editorial inspiration photography. These images illustrate the journal’s interests; they do not document our own stays or the named California destinations.
Our own travel photographs will accompany the finished trip stories.
